CanSupport Walk for Life – Stride Against Cancer

An initiative by CanSupport to celebrate World Cancer Day and to create awareness about the rising incidence of cancer, show solidarity with cancer patients and their all-important support system – the dedicated caregivers.
CanSupport will hold its 16th Annual Walkathon titled “Walk for Life – Stride Against Cancer” at Kartavya Path, New Delhi on 19th February 2023 with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The aim of the event is to create awareness about the rising incidence of cancer, show solidarity with
cancer patients and their all-important support system – the dedicated caregivers.
Started in 2008, the Walkathon commemorates World Cancer Day (Feb 4th). It aims to raise public awareness about cancer, to honour the memory of loved ones as well as to raise funds for CanSupport’s free Home-Based Palliative Care Services. The in-person Walk‟ will be held after a gap of two years when the „Walk‟ was held virtually due to the pandemic.
People from all walks of life, different age groups and professions from Delhi NCR, expats, and diplomats will participate in the event. Many youth from schools, colleges and corporate world will also join the Walk.
