An award ceremony recognizing best IT products & services
The Digital Terminal (DT) magazine recently organised its sixth edition of the DT Awards ceremony in New Delhi to acknowledge the best companies working in the field of information technology and allied services. Around 300 dignitaries from IT industry, dealers & distributors network, associations, government organizations, and top executives from leading IT vendors attended the annual award ceremony of best IT products and services.
The DT Awards 2016 consisted of 55 awards in different categories for best IT products and services categories. Dell India received the highest number of awards with four major awards in the kitty such as the Best Laptop Brand, the Best LED Monitor Brand, the Best AIO PC Brand, and the Best Gaming Laptop. Talking in terms of number, Hewlett-Packard (HP) also won awards in four categories including the Best MFP Printer Brand, the Best Laptop Accessories Brand, the Best Convertible Laptop Brand and the Most Reliable Brand of the Year Award. Datawind also maintained its niche leadership position by winning the Best Tablet Brand award at DT Awards 2016. Canon got Best Laser Printer Award whereas Epson was awarded in the Best Inkjet Printer Brand.

Among other awardees included: Kaspersky for Best Internet Security Brand, D-Link for Best Wireless Router and Best Networking Brand Award, and Gigabyte for Best Motherboard Brand. Mr. Lakhbeer Singh Tuli, Mentor & Director, Datawind was honoured Life Time Achievement Award for his contribution to the ICT industry.
