Now that the Indian Prime Minister has launched the ‘Start-up India’movement, it won’t be an overstatement to say that this decade is the decade of start-ups as long as the Indian entrepreneurship fraternity is concerned. Again, ‘Organic Food’ is the latest buzzword -now-a- days, people are becoming increasingly conscious about it due to the growing concerns of healthy-living than ever before. However, it is difficult for them to control their temptation as fast-food savour their taste buds. So, what could be a better idea than coming up with a start-up that serves healthy fast-food?
Taking an inspiration from this line of thought, Gurgaon-based Divyat Infotech Pvt. Ltd has launched ‘YumBox,’ an enterprise that will deliver ‘organic fast food’ at your doorstep. Apparently, ‘YumBox’ is India’s first-of- its kind of an organization in the food business segment.
Initially, it will operate with delivery model in Gurgaon’s Golf Course and Cyber City and will subsequently open up its reach in Delhi-NCR and other big cities nationwide.
YumBox has been founded by five passionate people- Capt. Deepak Dahiya (Founder & CEO), Vipin Gupta (Founder & CFO), Neeraj Bisht (Founder & COO), Ritesh Sharma (Founding Member) and Sameer Garibdasani (Founding Member). Renowned chefs from Delhi and Mumbai with vast experience in top restaurants & hotels have come onboard of this newly launched food venture.
Deepak Dahiya, Founder & CEO, YumBox along with his team have done extensive research on food industry over a few years and found that there was a dearth of healthy food options in the market with very few players. This motivated them to think of such a business plan – which provides healthy food items of premium quality at an affordable price.
“We will also come up with a mobile app namely ‘YumTeam’ in next couple of months. With this YumTeam where experience & energy is equally balanced, it looks to be an easy task”, says Neeraj Bisht, Founder & COO, YumBox.
This start-up asserted that the food it provides is 100% natural and made from ‘organic ingredients’. YumBox offers a range of organic fast food options to customers with a pocket-friendly price to its customers. Another interesting fact, with this food start-up is that ‘there is no minimum amount of order set for free delivery facility’ and they also claim to have served within 45 minutes of order to existing serviceable areas.
